Memoness unfolds within a ruined, fog-drenched cityscape that immediately establishes a sense of isolation and dread. The environment is deliberately oppressive: abandoned structures loom through the haze, dimly lit alleys stretch into uncertainty, and every street feels as if it holds the memory of catastrophe. The game builds its mood not through scripted sequences, but through the raw presentation of decay and emptiness. As you move through collapsed buildings and debris-filled corridors, the muted soundscape and low visibility combine to create an atmosphere in which simply walking forward feels like a risk. This commitment to ambience forms the backbone of the experience, inviting players to immerse themselves in a bleak, post-apocalyptic world where quiet moments are just as unnerving as combat encounters. Good idea behind the game, but the execution is lacking. The controls are very janky, and since movement is based on character orientation rather than it being relative to the camera, it makes fast-paced movement unnecessarily hard. The vision cone mechanic is also unreliable. It follows the mouse but often fails to reveal objects or enemies when it should. Cool concept, but the controls and vision bugs make it difficult to play.
I really like this game and it has some great ideas in it but I feel like there are a few shortcomings. 1- the controls are a bit of a problem but you can get the hang of it 2 - the camera can have a player either hiding against the bottom wall or just lets a player on the bottom edge have more area to see the other play overall a great game that I hope will get updated
Decent... Needs improvements in controlling movement.
Need more players per lobby, good concept
