I have to say, the game looks nice. It's pretty interesting a concept so far, but there's one thing that completely smashed the vibe and it was hilarious. In the first scene with Meng, I was talking about how even though it seems to have limited resources, the CG looks good and it's pretty smooth. THEN the MC whips out their low poly super flat penis and I lost my ♥♥♥♥!! xD Was it funny? Absolutely! But it kinda car crashed the soft, story building moment out of no where. Even without a face or crazy unique detail to the mc so people can self insert, the dramatic inconsistency between the two was just really jarring and a bit too confusing. Like I get the focus in these type of games are usually the female MC or whomever else, but at least give the man some definition on his ♥♥♥♥ xD The soundtracks are giving me whiplash and I had to call it in the intro xD Also the lack of an autosave is wild.

its not your average Gooner Game... can't go in and jerk off whenever you feel like it... you actually have to take care of Meng or you automatically fail and have to start over. wish the game had a longer story though... finished in like 2 hours, with MANY cliffhangers... still, decent game

I don't recommend it because I'm already not a big a VN consumer so there's a bit too much friction with the gameplay in my book. For example, there is a time limit, it's part of the gameplay so there can be game over, I'm fine with it. But since it's very VN-like, there's also no checkpoints or auto-save features and frankly speaking, I'm not really the type to create 20 save files as I progress through the game, maybe 2 or 3 at most and they're usually close enough in time. So I eventually get to the point I can't use a backup save file to fix anything. This would be fine even without any kind of auto-save or checkpoints but the skip forward function is poorly implemented. It often stops because there are unskippables bits, we have to wait for the scene to finish playing out then we have to skip again, on top of the fact that to skip, we have to hold the skip button for a few seconds. Unskippable bits + hold 3~4 seeconds to start skipping mak the "fail and retry" experience not enjoyable.
