Fun and entertaining open-world survival game that feels like a cozier take on the genre. It’s not groundbreaking, but I had a good time with it and found a lot to like, especially the exploration. The environments are colorful and diverse, and there’s a lot to find and collect while exploring. [*] I enjoyed working on building my little settlement and unlocking new items to decorate with. [*] Exploration was by far my favorite part. Wandering around and discovering new areas and items kept me engaged. Nearly every item serves a purpose, which felt thoughtful and satisfying. It's a great game but very basic in some regards. The combat is as basic as you can get but still fun. Closing the menu stops crafting = a big no no! but it is what it is. Then there is the hotbar, why oh why do lots of these games limit us to only a few keybinds. I think every game in this genre should have pull from chests, it's so annoying having a game without that once you have experienced it. All that aside, I love the game, and if you like this genre you probably will too. It's always super cheap when it has a sale too. Go for it!

I like the game however there are some massive problems. Gearing and progression is the biggest problem. There is not enough gear in the game in general. So there are four areas in the game and you get 2 rings and trinkets from the first island. Necklace and outfit on the second island. Weapon on the fourth. That is the highest tier you can get in the game. You can get a new necklace, rings, and trinkets at the end of the game once you have killed the last boss. However what is the point once you get that far? I completed all achievements in the game after killing him. Skilling progression is bad. You can finish all professions by the time you are off the second or early into the third island. Professions have either 1 or 2 specializations. However they don't do much and are not notable at all. For the most part lumbering can be ignored once you make a couple gather totems. Settler houses can also trivialize mining too. Since you can make them go mine in the area. Also once you get to the second island you can get a flying mount. Making other travel and most combat useless since you can go around getting chests. well old school mechanics but its a leveling crafting game lot time collecting resource to build items basicly you build an obilisk than upgrade it to unlock recipes as well as collecting item to unlock based on play time dont play you dont level up sure it need bigger bag more slots i have a chest but still be nice to get few more resources and yes it be nice if chest was connected to oblisk for crafting chest items need to be pulled out an put in i have been spoiled by other games no evolution say go forward not back any ways its crafting gathering fighting based game
