About Silent Cause
Short, story and exploration based, single-player horror where you are trying to find out what happened to family. While police found no cause from outside or from within family. While case has been closed it started drawing all sorts of people from ghost hunters to private investigators, you are one of them. Find what actually happened behind disappearance and sudden appearance of family by finding notes and clues that people left and try to uncover the mystery behind the murder while someone watching is coming closer and closer. Armed only with flashlight try to light up dark rooms that are long abandoned. It is up to you to end the story with knowing what actually happened or let questions stay unanswered.

"Silent Cause" is a horror-ish walking simulator with some hidden object / point & click elements. Who you are exactly is unclear, but you are investigating a series of paranormal murders that nobody ever found a clue. The gameplay consists of you going from room to room, while interacting with some objects and opening new paths. Some object locating is required. The ending isn't predictable but it makes little to no sense based on the clues we gather during the game session. Except some beatiful paintings, the game has nothing going for it. No real plot, no resolution/solution, no character development, no real horror, no great technical expertise, no good graphics, not a scary or memorable soundtrack, no nothing. It's very short and barely interesting. The frame rates make sudden drops at times and it's too demanding for what it offers. Poorply optimized and it might lag or alter the lighting. Many grammatical mistakes. I don't recommend it for any reason (except the paintings, those are fantastic), it requires a lot of work.
