About Six Feet Under

Find yourself under ground in this selection of Halloween party mini games, designed to spook and scare as you explore three underground games. Start by finding yourself in an open grave with options to enter The Crypt, The Pyramid or The Mine. Each level has it's own individual game play including;
- throwing brains across a Crypt to knock skulls off their staffs before the water level rises above your head
- hitting mummies with a shovel to keep them at bay
- Firing an old gun into the dark tunnels of a mine to fend off giant spiders

The scores from each level total up to a grand total score. Ideal mini games for a spooky Halloween party where you and your friends can take it in turns to enter the dark depths below and play the party games. Each level is quick and easy to learn so no long investment in time required to get started and comparing scores with your friends.

Survive as long as you can against the angry mummies and jumping spiders to achieve a higher score. Simple, uncomplicated and spooky.
Played On: HTC Vive
Six Feet Under is a trio of Halloween themed mini-games that are meant to be played back-to-back by one person, who accumulates a score across all games, and then passes the headset on to their friend to do the same while trying to achieve a higher score. In that regard, it's a very easy title to pick up, play, and pass off, but in every other aspect it's a featureless and dated release. You have your typical wave shooter where you fend off giant spiders, another somewhat wave shooter where you swing a shovel to kill mummies, and a brain tossing competition where you have to knock skulls off pedestals. By today's standards, there are a lot of better and prettier virtual reality games to play; especially when it comes to mini-games and party VR. The assets are horrendously dated, and to be honest the mini-games themselves really aren't all that fun to begin with. Back in September 2016 this title was more than likely a shining beacon of uniqueness and fun, but three years into consumer VR and it just hasn't aged that well. Check it out if you want, but there's only about five minutes of fun to be had here before moving on.
Rating: 2.0/5.…

"Six Feet Under" is a collection of three very mediocre VR tech demo/minigames, all of which just involve waving your arms around while immersed in a crappy looking collection of possibly flipped assets. There's almost nothing here, and certainly nothing of interest for gamers. The graphics in this game are passable, but could be better. And while it's vital for any game to have impressive visuals (gaming is a visual medium, after all), there's more to a game than just the graphics. To be worth a gamers time, the game must match top tier visuals with top tier gameplay, and that's not happening here. It's VR exclusive, and that shows the developer failed to understand the most basic axiom of VR game design... if the only cool thing about your product is VR support, your product is not cool. Not every "free" game really is. There's often MTX, or content locked behind DLC, or donations being requested, or any other number of things that could mislead gamers, but in this case I'm glad to say this really does appear to be a fully free game. Nothing demonstrates a developers belief in themselves and their work than giving it away without any remuneration. This is a service to th…
