Bring back your childhood memories - build the best slotracing tracks you can imagine and race on them. Equipped with a powerful ingame editor, offering lots of track and scenery parts, the only limit is your imagination. Use the integrated Steam Workshop to share your creations with the community. Race against the clock or compete against your friends on self built or downloaded tracks.
Enjoy every aspect of the game with up to 8 players - build the ultimate racetrack with your friends or compete against them in exciting races.
Play against AI - both in singleplayer or multiplayer. The AI adheres to the same rules as the player, causing the AI to feel lifelike. They switch tracks to overtake slower cars in front and also try to avoid collisions. But just like a real player, they might not always succeed!
The integrated Steam Workshop support allows you to share and download racetracks from right inside the game.

There are not that many nostalgic activities that we can experience in VR and luckily Slotracing is included! Luckily this time your mom doesn't come into your room with orders to clean up your toys another advantage is that you can build tracks here without restrictions on parts, even many decorative items that many of us never had before. In Slothracers VR you can do a campaign with (I believe) 27 tracks? You can ride these tracks alone or together with others via online multiplayer with 1 of the many neat available vehicles. I did not add them up, but there are certainly in the 20, including 2 versions of the infamous Tesla car. Fortunately, the game also has a steam workshop available where players can share self-built tracks with the rest of the Slothracing community on steam. Currently there are no vehicles available at the workshop, if this were possible in the future this would be very cool! so you can build tracks yourself but you can also build a track together with others via the online multiplayer options, this is undoubtedly very interesting for players who have high ambitions to build gigantic racing tracks. Obviously, such a project requires a lot of time, the mo…32 found this helpful
Experienced on the Oculus Quest 2
You can view my review & gameplay here: https://youtu.be/MXnP2NvcQh0 I think my video review pretty much says it all. Keep in mind, on the Oculus Quest 2, I had to push the B button and trigger in order to start races. I loved building my own tracks with the in-game editor. The racing itself wasn't the best as it's really a one button control type system (press trigger). Although it is more complicated than that because you have to slow down on curves or you'll jump the track so you have to know when to push on the gas and when to let go. It can be difficult to keep track of the racer, especially in the night time tracks. You do have full locomotion and smooth and snap turning options, as well as teleportation available. I did notice some clunky interactions, such as starting the race not being as simple as pressing trigger even though that is what is shown in the game. Also just grabbing the vehicle or the RC sometimes took more than one try. Game is running on the Unity Engine, unfortunately, it needs optimization. I had variable frame rates on my RTX 3080 and the stutter was noticeable, even when I lowered super-sampling to just 10…5 found this helpful
Unfortunately, I had to return it and ask for a refund. What I didn't like at all was the extreme ghosting effect when you follow the cars with your eyes, which makes the car movements very jerky. Especially in a game like this, I'm sure you'll find it very annoying. I spent an hour in the funny track editor and needed a short break. When I came back and put my Rift S back on, the motion controls stopped working and I could only turn around and grab something. So I couldn't reach the other end of the room to press the save button to at least save my track design. Lost all my proud work...very frustrating. If it's available for 4,99€ and further patches have matured the game, then maybe I'll buy it again.3 found this helpful
Unfortunately, it doesn't seem playable with a HTC Vive Cosmos. The controllers are not showing up in the menu, therefore I can't navigate.2 found this helpful
This would be great except the cars, will, not, move! I press the trigger - nada.
Just like owning your own slot car racing set in your own house without taking up the space! Make your own tracks, race how you want and race against friends https://youtu.be/Q5XmbBQ4Mdc
