Space Survival (2021)

"Space Survival" is a really poorly made 3D rendered low poly (or just, well, really badly visualised) third person space vehicle shooter. I guess the screenshots speak for themselves... and the gameplay is worse than the visuals are. This feels so incomplete, I'm not sure if it was supposed to be a tech demo, or a proof of concept of some kinds. This has some really mediocre looking graphics that will understandably be a turn off for a lot of gamers, and it's a big contributor to the failure of the game to attract gamers despite having no up-front cost. Gaming is a primarly visual medium, and if developers want to succeed, they must understand that it's not an area for compromise. You deserve better than compromises. This is "free" enough, at least you won't be expected to spend any more money after you download this, but just because something is free doesn't mean it's good. Even though this is "free", it failed to appeal to the 120 million+ gamers on Steam. SteamDB showed the game peaked at only 5 concurrent players... this is a dismal public reception. Игра 'Space Survival' оказалась на удивление захватывающей! Поначалу, с её пиксельной графикой, я не ожидал ничего особенного, но стоит только начать добывать ресурсы, строить базу и отбиваться от инопланетных захватчиков, как время просто перестаёт существовать. Геймплей увлекает своей простотой и одновременно глубиной. Постоянно приходится балансировать между улучшением защиты базы, исследованием новых технологий и поиском жизненно важных ресурсов, ведь космос беспощаден, и нехватка энергии или кислорода может привести к гибели всего поселения. Несмотря на кажущуюся хаотичность нападений инопланетян, есть ощущение, что каждое поражение даёт ценный урок. Анализируешь ошибки, улучшаешь оборону, и с каждым новым разом твоя база становится всё более устойчивой. Единственное, что немного расстраивает - это небольшая однообразность ландшафтов. Хотелось бы больше разнообразия в планетах и окружающей среде. В целом, 'Space Survival' – это отличная игра для тех, кто любит стратегии с элементами выживания. Рекомендую!
