About Spacen: The Beginning
Developed by ECHTNICE Studio comes the single player space shooter SPACEN. Fight your way through endless waves of enemies in bullet-hell style and defeat powerful bosses. Between missions, you explore Space One Station in Third Person View. Here you can exchange collected scrap parts of your opponents for weapon upgrades and thus improve the fighting power of your spaceship. By interacting with NPCs, you will learn about the history of the resistance. The SPACEN universe is waiting for you!
STORY:
The earth was destroyed by people of the SPACEN dimension. Only the astronauts of the International Space Station survived and founded the resistance. The resistance followed the path of the destroyers into the SPACEN dimension in which they set up the SPACE ONE station and from which they start their missions against the destroyers of the earth. As Gary Rogers, you are fighting alongside resistance to Earth's destroyers.

While the game is rough around the edges, the art style, sounds, and spaceship sections are all fairly decent. I would recommend improving the tank controls seen in the hub, the camera after dying in game, some of the animations are slightly broken and could use adjustment, sometimes bullets pass through enemies, fixing some of the subtitles, and some enemies are broken and unfairly challenging. The game overall has some flaws but has a decent base. I would recommend play testing and tweaking.1 found this helpful

- first person controls aren't great - graphics look decently high effort, but not all that coherent - the text displays *really* slowly. especially painful when interacting and you have to wait 10 seconds (not an exaggeration) for a single line of text to show up - the gameplay is a really mid (if that) arcade shooter
