Why? Because the ENTIRE THING is AI SLOP. This should not be permitted at all on Steam. This is cancer. Despite having no up-front cost, this failed to appeal to the 130 million+ gamers on Steam. SteamDB shows this peaked at [b]only 5 concurrent players[/b]... this is a dismal public reception. This was so bad they couldn't even give it away. Bearing in mind that free games don't add +1 to your game collector count, should you bother adding this to your library and downloading it? Not on a bet. I didn't have to pay for this, but I still feel ripped off. The use of AI slop is a direct insult to gamers and real, ethical content creators and artists everywhere.

Clearly an attempt to capitalize on the flourishing AI game market. And it was a fair attempt. But, unfortunately, the sound effects are not AI. AVOID AT ALL COSTS.

This is a fun match three game with a cool mechanic of unlocking new worlds and ores. If I could modify something, I think it would increase the challenge of the game if the tools were planet specific and scaled in cost with each subsequent planet. This would force the player to grind a bit more in the later stages of the game. SpAIceRocks is a really unusual match three game because it takes a familiar puzzle formula and drops it into a dystopian space mining setting. I play as an interplanetary prospector travelling between strange worlds and extracting valuable minerals through match three boards. I liked how the mining theme gives the simple puzzle gameplay a little more context than I expected. The basic matching is easy to understand, but the game gradually gives me larger boards and tools that can clear multiple minerals at once. I enjoyed planning matches with the mining tools because they give me more control than simply searching for the next obvious combination. The board expansion also adds a nice feeling of progression because the challenge increases alongside the amount of space I have to manage. Each world has its own atmosphere and mineral types, and I liked that the planets are not just identical levels with different backgrounds. Toxic swamps, polluted locations and frozen worlds all have their own strange mood. Nope. I got to click twice for every gem swap. I can't swipe with the mouse, This doesn't play smooth No sound Only one level No music No obvious progression system No rewards for doing 4 and 5 matches.
