Players universally criticize this match-three game as unpolished and incomplete, citing a lack of tutorial, clunky controls requiring double-clicks instead of swiping, missing sound and music, and overly simplistic mechanics with no bonuses for larger matches. Many attribute the poor quality to AI-generated content and note the game failed to gain any meaningful playerbase despite being free, with complaints about lack of progression, repetitive gems across planets, and unbalanced difficulty. One positive review praises the world-unlocking mechanic and core gameplay loop as fun, though even t
It's the saddest match3 game I ever played. I assume no human was involved in this? Not even testing. Because I can't imagine anyone sane would play this and say, "yeah, it's totally ready for release". There's no tutorial, so it takes time to figure how do you move pieces (drag doesn't work, just click). Only row/column collapses, and more than 3 gems give you no bonus, You gotta unlock bombs and additional gems and they just appear randomly. No save/load, no picking planet you want. Also, only background is different, you get exactly the same gems. You may only unlock specific gems on specific planet, so if you want your field more colorful - start it over. You get 20 moves and a task to collect ~40 gems, after finishing task your field gets slightly bigger. With new planet field's size resets. That's it. Gems bear no animation, with collapse they just disappear. But bombs - they sparkle like there's no tomorrow. Making me regret about unlocking them. You don't need them to finish in 20 moves anyway. Idk is this how alpha release usually looks like? I'd expect more gamepleay even from alpha, frankly.11 found this helpful
Warning: AI Slop This game is partially or completely made with talentless, soulless AI generated content.
"SpAIceRocks" is a garbage Candy Crush ripoff, ok, this has been done before, but this one looks awful, plays worse. Why? Because the ENTIRE THING is AI SLOP. This should not be permitted at all on Steam. This is cancer. Despite having no up-front cost, this failed to appeal to the 130 million+ gamers on Steam. SteamDB shows this peaked at only 5 concurrent players... this is a dismal public reception. This was so bad they couldn't even give it away. Bearing in mind that free games don't add +1 to your game collector count, should you bother adding this to your library and downloading it? Not on a bet. I didn't have to pay for this, but I still feel ripped off. The use of AI slop is a direct insult to gamers and real, ethical content creators and artists everywhere.5 found this helpful
Clearly an attempt to capitalize on the flourishing AI game market. And it was a fair attempt. But, unfortunately, the sound effects are not AI. AVOID AT ALL COSTS.5 found this helpful
This is a fun match three game with a cool mechanic of unlocking new worlds and ores. If I could modify something, I think it would increase the challenge of the game if the tools were planet specific and scaled in cost with each subsequent planet. This would force the player to grind a bit more in the later stages of the game.
