About Sqroma
Sqroma is a colorful puzzle game where you travel through 69 different levels with one goal each time: find your way to the exit. Each enemy you meet will have a defined color. Either you have the right color and you're friendly, or you don't and you're an enemy.

In this colorful world, you're the only one that can gather them all. Each color you pick up allows you to pass through every object of that color, such as enemies, bullets, mines, doors, you name it!

With unlimited lives and instant respawn, dying is not a problem. It even can be the solution! Your death usually means, fewer bullets to deal with, use that to transform the level!

-69 handmade levels
-42 challenges, you don't need to pass them all to finish the game
-Use the physics of the game to find your solution, a lot of levels have multiple solutions. There's always one clean way out, but if you like that, you can try more obscure solutions.
-The level does not reset after your current cube death, use it wisely to take a bullet for your future self and create a way out!
-No time limit nor lives, take your time and how many tries you want
-Want more? You find a solution to a puzzle, but was it the only one? The fastest? Each level has a time record to beat! But that's up to you, nothing is time locked!

-Color blind mode - doesn't work sadly for monochromacy
-Slow time - possible to change for each level, if one feels too fast for you, just slow it down
-Hint system - doesn't like to be stuck in a level and come back later? Just use the hint system for clues. But challenges will stay challenging! You don't need to pass them all to access the end of the game

8/10 Dying is a powerful tool you must wield wisely if you want to reunite all the colors. What is it: A mixture of maze, precision, and logic. You play as a chromatic square trying to reach the exit on every level. Standing in your way are different kinds of colored obstacles, some static, some moving, some actively shooting at you. If you hit an obstacle or projectile, you die, but that is not always a bad thing. Colliding with a projectile destroys not just you, but also the projectile, and while you respawn back at the last save point, the rest of the level continues, and having destroyed that projectile can help you progress closer to the exit. There is a very great variety of puzzles: simple mazes, bullet hell, logic, precision movement, and combinations with different proportions of each genre. The levels are grouped in different worlds, each with its own theme, and a final boss level with some tough puzzles. Other than just finishing all the levels, you can try to beat the clock on each level, and go for a speedrun through most of the levels and the boss. How hard is it: Moderate to hard, exercising both logic and speed. Only one level was super har…2 found this helpful
Just a heads up, I did receive my key from the developers! A good puzzler that builds on itself and those concepts over time and utilizes your previous attempts in a fun way! I had a good time with it and all the mixups it threw at me inbetween! This game is up there for the most number of deaths I've had in a game though so be prepared, but it was done in a good fun way so I honestly couldn't complain! And here was my playthrough if you are curious but need a push to pick it up: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gFbXqWBn_xk&list=PLrjdRAKaPjnK0LdPFMcQPJ-pGfoWBPP-N&index=1 1 found this helpful
Rarely do I enjoy a puzzle game so much that I play all the extra levels, let alone 100% it. This game is enjoyable and not to terribly long or difficult (hints me having the patience to 100%). You are rewarded for experimenting and learning the level as you go, so no need to sit stationary and study every detail before jumping into the level. I'd recommend this to everyone, not just puzzle enthusiasts, as it's very easy to dive into and enjoy.
Fun puzzle game ! It takes its simple premise and pushes it to the limit, while keeping thing fresh.
I really enjoyed this more than I expected! I've not been playing as many puzzle games as I once did so I was thinking I'd be too rusty to properly enjoy myself. But while the game is approachable, it also presents a solid set of challenges! The dev did a great job in providing helpful but not obtrusive assist text, injecting humor and "easter eggs" of sorts along the way. I found myself giggling right along with my puzzling several times. It was engaging enough too that I'm actually going to go for 100%ing the game, which I don't do often! Well worth both the price and the play time. Highly recommend for a chill-yet-thought-provoking time!
original puzzle game with a reflex/reaction aspect! Everyone has their own way of solving environmental puzzles! In a way, you have to program the way you escape, using dying as an important mechanic! (SteamDeck Friendly)
