About Stalks Stalks Stalks
Stalks Stalks Stalks
Have you ever wanted to make a bunch of money? To get rich by doing nothing? To become wealthy without ever developing a useful skill or trade? What if I told you there was a game that let you live out that fantasy in a pretend world? Well, that game is Stalks Stalks Stalks!
Compete against your friends, strangers, or no one and try and buy and sell stalks to make money. The player with the highest number wins! Everyone else loses! If you get the highest number, congratulations! If you get the lowest number, well, at least you didn't lose anything of real value...
The game can also be played "single player." Simply create a lobby, ready up, and then click start game to enjoy a nice, relaxing, solo stalks adventure!
A thorough "how to play" write up can be found on itch.io (https://rodzianko.itch.io/stalksstalksstalks) and in the Game Manuals
CardConquest
Also include is the beta of CardConquest, a two player, turn based strategy game where players try and capture their opponent's base or destroy all their units. Choose between the Infantry Commander and Tank Commander and fight for supremacy on your tiny island. There is no luck or RNG involved in winning battles. It is all based on your armies combined power, which is modified by the card each player chooses to modify their attack power. Cards can have special abilities that will alter the outcomes of battles if specified conditions are met. Good luck battling!
Note: This game is in beta. Two player online multiplayer only. No singleplayer version available

I also created a game development blog/tutorial for creating CardConquest, which you can read through here: https://fatrodzianko.com/category/cardconquest/
Additionally, the source code for CardConquest is available on github: https://github.com/FatRodzianko/CardConquest-unity
Between the two, you can see for yourself just how bad I am at coding!

"Stalks Stalks Stalks" is two games in one (which is why the screen shots look confusing). The first game (Stalks x 3) is just a complete rubbish "stock trading" text only homework assignment of a game that might as well be a web page. The second game is a really crap 2D retro pixel "card" based hex map turn based strategy game, and it's bad, like 1980's TRS-80 bargain bin reject bad. This has some really mediocre looking graphics that will understandably be a turn off for a lot of gamers, and it's a big contributor to the failure of the game to attract gamers despite having no up-front cost. Gaming is a primarly visual medium, and if developers want to succeed, they must understand that it's not an area for compromise. You deserve better than compromises. This is only free in a rudimentary sense... the developer has their hand out for a $1 USD "donation" for this as you're expected to buy some extra DLC from Steam... digital panhandling. Like the homeless guys who splash dirty water on your windscreen at the traffic lights. No thanks. Even though this is "free", it failed to appeal to the 120 million+ gamers on Steam. SteamDB showed the game peaked at only 11 concurrent …1 found this helpful
