About Star Phoenix
Star Phoenix is a cross platform multiplayer 1st person RPG shooter (multiplayer support coming soon).
In Star Phoenix you are in the driving seat to explore the Star Phoenix and uncover the mystery behind its falling. You are the last hope for the Star Phoenix and its people, will you enable the Star Phoenix to rise from the ashes?
Find and upgrade weapons, collect items, level up your character and defeat bosses in this sci-fi RPG adventure.
You find yourself alone on a derelict space ship following a long hibernation, awoken by a unknown character hiding in the shadows. The goal was to find a new habitable planet to stave of the extinction of life, now you desperately scramble to find weapon to protect yourself and save anybody who may still be sleeping on board the Star Phoenix.
Currently Star Phoenix has 3 levels. The 2nd level is procedural generated. There are a number of weapons to collect including rare and powerful weapons, each with their own benefits and draw backs. There are 2 movement systems that can be used in game - a teleportation system can be used or if preferred a more traditional movement system can be used (via track pad on the HTC Vive or thumbstick on the Oculus Touch controllers).
Star Phoenix is fully compatible with the HTC Vive and Oculus Rift + Touch controllers.

Note: Star Phoenix is still under heavy development so there may be issues and bugs present but rest assured we will work to get them fixed as quickly as possible and we will continue to bring you updates and the game is developed further. We urge you to leave feedback so we can make the game as good as we can for everybody.

[h1] Experienced on the Oculus Rift with Touch Controllers [/h1] Currently, this game has 4 positive reviews and 7 negative reviews. I bought this game on sale for $2.49 since I figured I might as well take a chance for such a low price. I mean I buy 2 chimichangas at the 7-11 for the same price and that's as much as a gamble as this. Boy was I wrong! At least the Chimichangas at 7-11 are usually good. This game is just bad, bad, bad. I can't find too many nice things to say about it. It's got almost free locomotion! That's good. You can't turn, that's bad. The guns are pretty accurate, that's also good. The enemy AI is bad. There's more than one gun, I think there's 4-5 total. That's good sort of. I think there's only 2 enemy types (and a dragon apparently that I have yet to see), that's really bad. There was an attempt at a story. There's some nice looking scenes sort of. Everything else is not good. This game is a mess. So you start out and the tutorial consists of some text graphics. Very basic information about what the buttons do. bad game
A shocking, unfinished game. Massive clipping issues, absolutely no direction on controls, rubbish AI & practically pitch black. Not enjoyable, worse than free games to be honest.
Star Phoenix is a poorly slapped together VR only title. It's abandoned early access, the game will never be finished. The game won't work unless you're using a VR headset and controllers, which is indicative of the lazy, low effort shovelware development from Blazar Games. Why VR exclusive? To prevent the game being compared to the large number of games that aren't VR exclusive, wherein it would fail hard because it's objectively terrible. Developers must learn that if their game is only good because of VR, that just means VR is good, not their game. The $10 price tag is an insult.
Really enjoyed the gameplay and graphics on this. Looking forward to seeing more!
