Studio System : Guardian Angel

The things you discover looking through avatars in the points shop. I enjoyed this game quite a bit, it's pretty clearly SH inspired survival horror, but it does do some interesting and unique things with the gameplay that I haven't seen before. The graphics might not look impressive at a glance, but they grow on your and manage to set the atmosphere well. The characters are cute and relatable and I found the story pretty interesting. Really good spritework on the menus and portraits too. Really, my main complaint was I wanted more time with these characters and world. And my second main complaint is that Becky and Tomaro didn't smooch. Big L. Regardless, really hoping to see more from this developer.

This has to be one of, if not my favorite game I have played. As someone who deals with a dissociative disorder I related a lot to the main character Becky and how she seems to struggle with something similar. The atmosphere and setting is so dark in the best way possible, I got scared a lot by off screen enemies. The art style is very unique and probably my favorite part of the game. There was a learning curve at first with the tank controls but as time went on it got easier, the camera mechanic is super unique and makes the game stand out against others in its genre. Overall I highly recommend this game as it doesn't take too long to complete all the endings. Replaying it offers a chance to see more hidden stuff in the areas as long as another "ending". All the characters are super likeable too in my opinion.

It's a... beautifully weird game. Not entirely sure how I even discovered it, but I'm very glad that I did. I suppose it's one of those pieces of media that I appreciate more than I actually enjoy, if that makes sense. The fixed-camera, limited-save survival horror gameplay is not really my cup of tea, but I was too fascinated by the art style and the lore of the game to not want to explore it in full.

I love the art style; the story is very interesting.
