✦ AI summary

Players appreciate the portable Sudoku gameplay experience, particularly on Steam Deck, and note some interesting mechanical concepts like time pressure and specialized puzzle goals. However, the game is held back by significant usability issues including the spherical layout that strains eyes and creates visual distortion, lack of in-game note-taking tools, frustrating scrolling controls, inability to save mid-puzzle, and dated visuals that feel unimpressive for modern standards.

A sudoku game with a story and the sudokus being solved on a sphere. While it sounds interesting, the game has some flaws that ultimately bakes it all into a bad experience. There are some interesting mechanics here, like timepressure, or making one single digit the main goal of the puzzles, but they are for most part sabotaged by the game's own flaws. -No tools for helping keeping track of numbers ingame. You either need to get pen and paper, or just be born with some sort of eidetic memory. -The sphere layout takes a toll on your eyes as everything is bent and no longer lines up. -Scrolling the map or sudokus themselves might have worked well on resolutions 15 years ago, but is now difficult and frustrating. -No saving mid-puzzle: In later stages you need to set aside an hour or so since any progress will be lost if you do not solve everything in a level in one go. Short sessions just doesn't work with this game, which turned into a barrier for playing sometimes. -Even by 2009 standards the technology of the gameengine feels very outdated. Alt-tabbing, scrolling, loading, soundscape; all feel lackluster and not in the charming aged way. On the other side it…

Tags: Casual - Number Additional Tags: Delete Local Content & Remove from Library TLDR: Walking clicker murder mystery and VN style cutscenes. Core gameplay is sudoky busywork meant to showcase some sort of glass distortion visual effect. Looks dated and unimpressive on PC for current casual market. This is a slideshow using some primitive engine about some kind of clue-type investigative story. You rotate a ball to select the level which fits within the investigation narrative. Opening a level replaces the ball with a distorted backdrop of what is meant to represent the interior of the location you are investigating. Solve the sudoku puzzle and unlock more progression for story and maybe a clue. Anyways its a lot of fairly mindless busywork for a game that seemed like it was optimized for the very first Ipad. Would had made me proud if I was mastering the first touch interface tablet in 2009 but nowdays its not a good experience.
