Summer Athletics is an ancient game from 2008. It's a whopping 16 years old at the time of this review. The game lacks support for the typical features of modern gaming PCs, hasn't been modernised or updated to run smoothly on contemporary machines. The game looks and feels dated. Despite this lack of modernisation, it carries a pretty high price tag for such an old game. This seems to have be lingering on Steam with an inflated price to try profit from abandonware. This is a rather poor bargain bin entry from 2008 designed for the Nintendo Wii. As it says on the box, you do a number of summer olympics themed minigames like various swimming, track and field events, all of which involve bashing away as hard as you can on the buttons of a console peasant children's toy gamepad. So there's no depth here at all. On the upside, the game does feature customisable controls and resolution, so at least some of the basic, minimum requirements have been met. Worst Game ever not responding to gamepad and keyboard is not possible to make good results

Game force closing :( why i am not able to go back to another screen while playing this ? The game force close if change the active screen from game to something else.

It is a reasonable game, but I think it's too expensive. You have a choice of a lot of different sporting events, which you can also combine in 1 game, but next to that it is a rather limited game. I would give it a 3,5/10
