Still as fun as it was in 1991 on my A500 Plus. Great they have other versions but Amiga is the only one to play, plays fine and emulation seems good, saves getting the A500 out to play it. I hope they get Super Cars 2 released and many more Amiga and Amstrad classics. Review score 80%

I play the Amiga version which is great fun with addictive gameplay, beautiful pixel graphics and good music&sound effects. Highly recommended if you like 2D racers. Works well with my xbox controller. This is a classic game which is still very much enjoyable today.

Got for amiga version - plays great until track 7 reached, after which it crashes with error writing to file. Needs sorting ASAP.

The game is essentially a minimalistic and rigid wrapper over a series of emulators. Emulation works well enough but as usual in those packages the quality comes from the fluff around the emulator and you won't find much there... The UI is - as mentioned, minimalistic, allows limited and insufficient controller configuration and there are very few options aside from a few display types (none super enthralling). No rewind features, no cheats, nothing aside from the bare minimum. There are also quite a number of issues: the Amiga version systematically fails to save highscores at the end of a game and pops a system dialog saying so... **was this even tested seriously? I doubt it** Saving a game state also crashes the game... Nice. If you can get in on super sale, it's worth it for the legal license to play those games, aside from that: avoid. It's a shoddy version, with zero love and care put into it.

Get to race 7 on the amiga version and it crashes with various errors, one even saying that the save disk for supercars 2 isn't in the floppy disk drive, Shouldn't have anything to do with supercars the first game. It crashes to whatever emulator is running the game. Shame was a fun game back in the day, the other emulated versions are inferior to the amiga so, I can't actually play the version I bought it for, awaiting refund as I doubt the developer could fix this, seems like they're using a faulty rom.

you don't know how hard i dreamed about a port of the amiga version of that game to steam. I'll never thank Pixel games UK enough. it was one of the greatest Amiga games. and you can't imagine how much fun i get replaying that old thing. I'm now following very closely Pixel games UK ^^. maybe one day a Lotus turbo challenge 2, or a Wings of fury, or an Ivan Stewart super off road ^^. anyways thanks a lot to Magnetic fields, and Pixel games UK for that epic port
