Super Intergalactic Gang

Horizontal shoot 'em up with nice chiptune music. However, there's only one boring background, space, so no stage variety beyond enemy composition. Annoying full-screen effect when you destroy certain "eyes". Only around 10 types of enemies, but a choice of 25 characters, mostly cartoony skins of famous movie characters and superheroes. The bosses don't have enough attack types and take too long to kill, except for the first one. The game controls only with d-pad, not analog stick, on your gampead but well enough otherwise. Cool "time distort" slow-motion mechanic that you can use relatively often. I also appreciated the choice of two bonuses between stages. The game is not bad, but it's not good enough for a QD recommendation, especially at the regular price of $10.

Amateur shoot-em up. Looks like it was made in MS Paint. Your guy is big and finnicky moving around, sometimes jerking around, other times moving slowly. Hard to tell his hitboxes. Many time where the entire top to bottom filled with bullets and you can't dodge. Can't shoot up or down and waves of guys will keep coming in a line you can't clear forcing you up or down and unable to go past that continuous line forever with nothing to do about it.. There are many types of weapons, and you can charge up with each which is cool. Your main weapon is underpowered. It's not explained and hard to tell when charging up is better and if it does faster DPS. Also its annoying to constantly hammer attack, instead of being able to hold it, so expect hand cramps. Guys can suddenly appear on screen hurting you. Once you die once you have to restart entire game from start for no apparent reason, forcing repeat plays to make up for lack of content....lazy game design. Also even if you turn off sound in menu it still plays for some reason. Just skip and pick a better shoot em up. 3/10.

Recent update makes this game even nicer to play and visual improvements also. Over the top fast, fun and a blast to play. Smooth, great frame rate. Music is also very nice with chip tunes.
