The finely-tuned precision platforming makes conquering the unknown feel fair, yet challenging. Delve Deep and Don't Give Up!

Disclaimer: My scores/reviews are almost always based on having bought the game at close to the "lowest historical price" on steam at time of purchase. Quick score: 5/5 Notes: Very underrated and surprisingly great game. Think super meat boy + hollowknight spike bouncing. My only major complaint is that the in-game controller schemes are almost unusable because of how they dont have jump as a seperate button and instead tie it to "up" on the d-pad/analog stick. Which is incredibly clunky and imprecise. I ended up just using steams built-in controller settings to make RT jump and LT charge. Would suggest you do the same. Difficulty of the game is slightly above average, right up until the last 20ish levels where there is a pretty massive difficulty spike, as well as a couple of the "secret" levels. All of these final levels are at, or near, the difficulty of some boshy screens and "the kid" stages from meat boy. For someone very experienced with platformers, my final stats were... 100% completion (used a guide to find the secret levels) 6 hours, 13 minutes 1771 deaths2 found this helpful
Absolutely amazing game! The progressive difficulty, the powerups, the secrets, the colour palettes. This is 100% a hidden gem, I cannot stress how disappointing it is to see such an amazing game be so underrated. If it weren't for my friend (who also is writing a review) I wouldn't have even known this game existed. I primarily use controller to play games, and the game's lack of controller support is a bit sad, but I managed to get 100% (secrets included) of the game with keyboard, and I suck at keyboard! The only hard to press key was the shift for the MEGA SLASH, but that I eventually got used to doing too. Would love a sequel, ;3 Oh, and, can we mention the music? Loved every theme in the game and I wish the OST was available for purchase (hey devs? Can we get that?).1 found this helpful
Peak platformer
CRIMINALLY underrated game! Turned out far more challenging, fun, creative, and content-filled than I expected! Very very good game and absolutely recommended if you've been around for a while in the precision platforming genre. Only 14 reviews for a game this good that's been out for nearly 6 years is a disappointment. PLAY THIS GAME! (keyboard default controls recommended honestly tho, it's kinda awkward on controller. takes a bit to get used to but you'll get it.)
One of the most underrated and challenging percision platformers I've ever played. This game is great!
