The reviews are either fake or lying. I completed the run on my first try. The combat boils down to mashing your attack button. Enemy variety is barely existent. Mostly the same guys throughout each zone with a few new variations of the same thing. Bosses are a joke. But the thing that bothered me the most is the sound. This is one of those games where sound effects stack on top of each other and become louder. Hitting 2-3 enemies at a time can result in ear bleeding booms that legitimately might threaten your hearing or speakers. For your own sake, turn effect sounds down to 1-3% at best. Pick up the bo staff, throw every upgrade towards basic attack, mash your way to victory.

Damn, it was hard but also entertaining. While playing, it felt like I was the one who went through all these rooms. Collecting different types of the same thing is my favourite thing so collecting different types of cards was my favorite part but chance of getting different card can be increased so that I can collect all types of cards in a game. First of all, I really appreciate the work for the game from the developers and I was waiting for the game since demo was released. In my opinion, Taram Baba is a little bit hard to play but it could be my skill issue :) + nobody's preference is playing easy games so, thats fine . Game graphics looks very beautiful and simple I liked it. Bosses are satisfactory and maybe the variety of guns could be increased. Overall, the game is very entertaining but still there is a room for improvement.

Combat feels super snappy and satisfying — every hit has impact and movement is smooth and responsive. The map system is really cool too, constantly changing in a way that keeps runs feeling fresh. Definitely worth checking out if you're into fast-paced roguelikes.

Feels nice and satisfying. The game have some room for improvement (which looks like they are being addressed), but the core gameplay is just FUN. Hits are solid and heavy, while the game remains fast paced. I also liked the "nightmare" aspect of the game; where the areas you previously explored are procedurally changed the next time you visit there. This adds to the feeling of being trapped in an endless labyrinth of a nightmare. Overall, a nice game with a solid gameplay that may be improved. I think it is a steal at this price.
