A "Point and Click" Adventure game in the classic style but with modern day elements.
Philip is a young British aristocrat with a taste for exploration. Denying his father's wishes, he sets sail for uncharted lands with the aid of his father's uptight servant, Brimley. All is well until his crew hits turbulent seas and his ship wrecks leaving only him and Brimley on a small island near the Middle East.
Instead of sending smoke signals for a hopeful rescue, he desires to explore the giant ziggurat which is, without a doubt, the lost Tower of Babel.
Danger, traps, wealth, and intrigue await within the Temple that time itself forgot...

As a bonus, you have full control over the volume of the music, sound effects, and atmospheric track with a built in audio mixer slider panel.

”Templum de Malum” is an interesting dungeon-adventure game, using point&click mechanics. You play as an adventuring aristocrat, who finds himself shipwrecked on an unknown coast with a sinister-looking temple nearby, and together with his faithful servant ventures in to discover its secrets and defeat the evil inside... Game consists of 1st person-view static screens that are meticulously drawn and look really nice, and you need to use button-commands to interact with the objects on-screen and in your inventory (there are no real puzzles to speak of though). Music is quite impressive, melodious and masterfully composed, and suits the game’s dark and retro style just well (soundtrack can be purchased in addition as DLC). Gameplay is really simple and can be completed just under two hours, and in case you get stuck you can always “talk” to your companion for hints or consult the journal; there is a certain time pressure factor in the form of torches that you need to keep lit, lest you perish in darkness. Despite the game’s shortness the price is favorable, so if you like adventure games and want to play something relaxing and not too difficult, then this is the game for you.1 found this helpful
Nice small point'n click in the vein of Shadowgate. I liked the atmosphere, UI and graphical elements enough to play it a second time in three years. It's fast to travel through the whole world, so setbacks like a few instant deaths don't get annoying. There are two quite hard to find items or places which can stump you for a while, but most of the puzzles are pretty straight forward.1 found this helpful
Fun adventure game like those of old. Worth the price.
It's an alright point-and-click adventure game for a few bucks.
An utter mess of a game that fails to play on a pc able to run CP2077 with few issues. Assets do not load, game controls lag and in a matter of minutes it freezes the entire pc.
