I'm keeping my original review below in brackets for reference, but it's been one day since I made it and the dev responded quickly and already pushed an update that fixed most of my issues. If a dev responds so quickly and effectively, it's only fair that I update my review as quickly as possible. This is a really fun, if difficult, game. I've not made it too far, yet, but I'm very much enjoying it. It looks really deep too with ways to make it even more difficult and interesting. I assume it'll be a while until I can get that far, but I look forward to putting in that time because it now feels very attainable. [I think it has promise, but I found it completely unplayable. What you're getting is a simple roguelike game where you clear one-screen rooms of enemies before moving on. Which would be fine if I could...you know...clear the room. There were inaccessible enemies, poorly designed rooms that would soft lock you, and a door at the end of each room which only seemed to open 50% of the time even when you cleared the room. Controller bindings seemed clunky but usable. But you're thrown into a really difficult game really early. This is fine so long as the gameplay make…
