✦ AI summary

Players praise this small indie game for its surprising polish, charming retro arcade feel, and satisfying core loop of serving customers and throwing drinks at troublemakers. The roguelike progression system with character upgrades and unlockables encourages multiple playthroughs, and most find it engaging and relaxing. However, some players find the early game pacing slow with lengthy introductions to mechanics, and a few report difficulty balancing issues, particularly with the game's taxation system becoming punishing and hard to keep up with without difficulty options.

Surprising amount of polish for such a small game. Really love the little details like the character compendium and the upgrades that certain characters give. It's also tougher than it looks, difficulty is way up from the demo now! There's so much depth to the upgrades as well. One thing I will point out is that the initial 10 days in the first tavern can be....a bit much, but at least the game has a good way too encourage multiple runs. Overall I'd say this game was a pleasant surprise and I can see the love and care that was put into it post-demo. I like that there are still people putting effort into games that run in old computers. With that said, the king is a tyrant that mercilessly raise taxes. After three days of work, I'm not earning enough to keep up with them. Consider adding options to tweak difficulty.

Fun little game in the vein of Overcooked and similar titles. Rougelike progression with different strategy lines to pursue. You can unlock and upgrade different types of customers over multiple playthroughs and tailor your strategy to them. Random events pop every now and then, every run feels different. Throwing drinks at robbers and monsters is incredibly satisfying! Great game to play while going through your Youtube or streaming backlog.

Throwing drinks at robbers and going bankrupt has no right being this fun and relaxing. Highly recommend.

A neat little game with a simple but satisfying loop. Takes a bit too long to introduce new mechanics, but the core idea and humor are great.
