The Haunting Eyes is a simple indie stealth horror game where you explore a dilapidated house trying to find bags of gold, while a floating head of a ghost is wandering the halls trying to catch and kill you. You can also collect red "Eyes" in the game in order to look through the ghost's eyes for about 3 seconds to try to determine its location. You might have seen similar games on the iPad. This game can take around 1-2 hours to complete depending on luck and skill. + The atmosphere of the house is quite well made, there is a uneasy tense vibe throughout playing the game. + The sound design is great, the noise the ghost makes when nearby is creepy and gets under your skin, along with various sounds around the house such as the blowing wind and crashing objects. + There are 2 endings, and a few fun secret areas to explore around the house. - Several of the achievements did not pop for me when they should have. - The ghost can pop out of nowhere and frustrate you. I think the "eye usage" should last a few more seconds, from the short time frame its hard to really make out where the ghost is. Basically I could only tell if the ghost was in the basement or not. I get stutters on medium graphics settings on a RTX 3060. This game fells unfinished because of how little content there is in the game. Overall, this isn't worth the money. The original game is better.1 found this helpful

Tried to boot this up on my laptop and it wouldnt even open , i mean to be fair what did i expect but even using a steam deck Oled 1tb the device struggles at times from the fans going absoulutely crazy to the device heating up like crazy , this game definetly requires a strong cpu and gpu but the game itself is a nice remake to the original
i played thee original on all plataforms and this is ass -1/10
