The Longed-for Revenge of Undecember

This is an interesting first person horror game with puzzle solving and story telling. The idea of an 'Undecember' is quite unique and unsettling. The sound design here is great, the voices of the characters are creepy and the atmosphere is beautifully crafted to capture a realistic world where still providing the feeling that something is wrong. I used to play a lot of games like this years ago, and this one genuinely has a lot to offer. Each item serves a specific purpose, so you must make wise decisions about what to use and when, and how you will find more. Whether you're interested in this game for it's telling of a tragic true story, or for it's scary environment, I would definitely recommend picking it up and playing it. [i]I am not at all finished the game, so my playtime doesn't reflect the game's length![/i] An interesting retelling / interpretation of an incident that took place in the early 2000s. The game is told from the perspective of a man, who lost his family in a car accident that lead them all to drown. You visit the local pharmacy to pickup your medication, which you must then take/abuse to progress the game's story. In-between the days where you fetch the medicine, are nights where your character has bad dreams; presenting a challenge for the player (for example, the first one is to [spoiler]turn on all the light switches, without letting the wraith contact you.[/spoiler] The 2nd challenge is a bit more difficult. If I had to provide a bit of feedback, I would suggest explaining to the player how to survive each challenge before the challenge starts, as opposed to letting them read the hints after it has started. I think it's interesting! But judging by the difficulty of the second challenge, don't expect it to be a linear cakewalk / walking simulator.

game was fun until the 3rd real level where it decided to just combine having to turn all the lights on and clicking every picture. not even gonna try that lol, what a pain. but yeah, the 2 other horror levels did have some decent tension and despite being kinda tedious, wasn't really frustrating because of the cigarette item letting you see everything you need to for a bit. monsters were pretty creepy too. one of the intros to a game of all time
