About The Perdition Man: Interval

Will your mind be broken? Given little information about where you are and how you will complete your mission a variety of strange creatures begin to arise giving you no time to question what to do. Sent on a mission to retrieve an "asset" your only friend is your tenacity and firepower.

With only a single weapon, embark on a frostbitten endeavor to make it to one of the 2 endings of this challenging game. Hard to nail platforming, swarming enemies, lack of direction, and traps will all force you to use your skills to reach the end. This is inspired by retro game mechanics so keep that in mind while playing.

The Perdition Man: Interval is a single player campaign that is difficult intentionally, in order to enhance the experience. The shooting mechanics are a hybrid of survival horror and run and gun games, with platforming requiring precise timing. These challenges are made even more exhilarating by the daunting atmosphere that surrounds this psychologically trying storyline. Everything wants you dead, see for yourself.

"The Perdition Man: Interval" is a completely terrible, in fact laughably bad 3D rendered 2D platformer with a little bit of shooting. More effort seems to have gone into the back story for the game than actual game development (and it shows). This is not to say the back story is good, I've read better Star Trek fan-fictions from highschoolers. What do you do in the game? You use a single weapon in a run-and-gun style, combining shooting with platforming, in a single-player campaign. The game features "precision" platforming, enemies to shoot, and traps that require precise timing and skill to overcome, and some of the worst quality levels of any video game ever made. The graphics here are particularly awful, so bad that it actually stands out as one of the worst looking games on Steam. Quite an accomplishment. I mean it's great that this isn't an asset flip, nobody likes those due to the ethics of it all, but this looks worse than an asset flip. It's a big contributor to the failure of the game to attract gamers despite having no up-front cost. Gaming is a primarily visual medium, and if developers want to succeed, they must understand that it's not an area for compromis…

Actually, I don't know how to play this game. I just found that the normal key sequence like A for left, D for right, space bar for jumping, enter for fire. But I didn't meet any enemy so the pistol is useless. I look through the community and it seems that the game was designed and developed by only one. The bgm is vacant and the scene is dark but peaceful. I hope the developer can add more instructions to it and make it more playability.
