Tiny Candy Guardian 御菓子島の魔法使い

"Tiny Candy Guardian 御菓子島の魔法使い" is a godawfully bad VR tech demo from China. Stand still and wave your arms around to "shoot" waves of cutesy stuff in a (possibly asset flipped) low poly/cartoony environment. There's nothing of value here. I'm not sure if this is an asset flip, but it's one of those cases where the assets just look much better than the rest of the quality of the game... a glaring inconsistency. There's no evidence, but as always, the biggest problem with asset flips besides the plagiarism is the deplorably low quality of the other aspects of the game, and even if the game assets are genuinely created for the game, the quality of the rest of the game is indistinguishable from that of asset flips. It's VR exclusive, and that shows the developer failed to understand the most basic axiom of VR game design... if the only cool thing about your product is VR support, your product is not cool. On pricing, this is "free" enough, at least you won't be expected to spend any more money after you download this, but just because something is free doesn't mean it's good, and the cost of a game is more than just financial, your time is valuable too.
