About Toast
In this thrilling game, you are trapped in a randomly generated maze with a deadly humanoid piece of toast hot on your heels. As you navigate the winding corridors and twisty passageways of the maze, you must use all of your cunning and problem-solving skills to outwit the toast and find a way out. At every turn, you'll face challenging puzzles that you must solve in order to progress. You'll need to think fast and use all of your resources to escape the clutches of the Toast and find your way to safety. With randomly generated levels and a variety of challenges to keep you on your TOESt, this game is sure to provide endless hours of heart-pounding action and excitement. Can you outsmart the Toast and escape the maze alive?

The quick: A simple puzzle game, a monster roams the area, you have puzzles scattered about that give you keys that you need to escape. The puzzles range from mazes, to simon says, all pretty simple but time consuming as the monster still hunts you. While something made from only two guys, it becomes even more impressive when you find out they these two guys just got out of high school and that this is their first project. Overall, it's pretty good despite it not being a genre of game I would normally play. While not something expansive like Elden Ring, it can still provide some pretty tense gameplay given that you can't really fight back against the monster chasing you. You have a bunch of items to use, including a flash light and some decoys and scattered around the area there are places to hide until it's safe. What's most impressive to me is that you have different difficulties as well as the ability to customize the difficulty manually. You can adjust the amount of keys needed to escape, the amount of puzzles needed to solve, the size of the area and the amount of hiding places. My only issue is the mouse control. That toast guy looks familiar.....10/10
It all started as a joke with my friend toastbloke, and honestly, I am super happy that I took the time to sit down and play! Finished both Normal and Easy (to clarify if my ending was correct!) and had a blast doing so. :)
I was expecting brown toast...... but instead it was golden brown
