Tormentis is an action RPG that combines fast, loot-driven combat with the strategic construction of your own castle.
Build deadly defenses filled with traps, guardians, and clever room structures – and raid the castles of other players to claim valuable loot and secure your place in the seasonal leaderboard.
Design your own castle with individually placeable rooms, enemies, and traps. Strengthen your defenses to bring attackers to their knees – and secure resources and rewards in the process.
But be warned: your castle never rests. Other players will attempt to break through your defenses and steal your treasures. Only those who build cleverly, place strategically, and use their resources wisely will prevail as rulers of their castle.
Scour other players’ castles in action-packed battles from an isometric perspective. Dodge deadly traps, defeat their defenders, and claim their most valuable treasures.
With quick reflexes, smart tactics, and the right gear, you will survive your opponents’ defenses. Those who master the dangers will seize valuable resources and rare materials to continuously improve their equipment.

For everyone who is loooking for an alternative for MQFEL this is it! Nearly everything works as you know it. You build your castle dungeon with rooms, monsters and traps. You raid other players castles & campain dungeons for exp & loot. There is a fully funktioning auction house and a crafting & enchanting system. Ther are seasons and dayli quest. 10/10 feels like I already have 350 hours clocked xD1 found this helpful

This game is basically the closest thing one can get to The Mighty Quest For Epic Loot. and hey, I'm fine with that. Tormentis IS pretty good! all I could really hope for at the moment is more enemies to use, I guess.
[h1]Tormentis is a simple ARPG with a fun dungeon builder. Unfortunately game doesn't push players towards good design, causing the dungeons you can play to be terrible. Recent update made max level gameplay a lot worse.[/h1] [h1]Good sides:[/h1] - Fun dungeon building system w/ traps, monsters, decor & room shapes, - Well suited for a few quick dungeon runs, - Relatively simple as an ARPG, for better or worse, - Really scratches that Might Quest For Epic Loot itch. [h1]Bad sides:[/h1] - All dungeons are made by players, 70% are unfun, 10% extremely difficult, - Game doesn't guide to or require good design or fun, - At least 50% of league player dungeons are "abandoned" and empty, - Active player base is very small, not many new dungeons, - Best way to grind gear & resources is running the same 15-second adventure dungeon, - At max level 50, there's only 10 or so player dungeons to run.
It's early access, has bugs (nothing game breaking yet) and needs more features but the core gameplay loop is mostly fun and I've ended up sinking a bunch of hours into this despite only playing a few days. If you liked the Mighty Quest For Epic Loot, you'll love this. Also Devs are nice and often implement player feedback. I greatly look forward to seeing this game develop over time!
I follow this game a lot because of the passion for original Mighty Quest for Epic loot, which had the same concept (it has nothing to do with mobile game spinoff with the same name). I will update my review when the game gets better, I cannot recommend it to anyone for the price they are asking in current state. It is fun for few early hours, but after that you realize the game is full of empty corridors, whose purpose is only to delay you and you spend 4 minutes just walking empty hallways (most of them leading to dead ends) before you reach the exit with no worthy enemies or traps to fight. I know they are working on dungeon design rework, and I will check it when released and update my review after that. This negative review here is to motivate the developer, as I will surely change it to possitive once it reaches the fun level. right now, the running through the empty dungeon is pointless and waste my precious life free-time, this is not something I want to pay money for, I pay for the fun. summary: + working random loot system (Diablo like) + crafting, mechanics + Create your dungeon (still needs the rework to get rid of long empty corridors that are there by default as b…
