Mic Detection is a very important mechanic to the experience of TOTO ZOO, the biggest thing is that the Animals/Threats can hear your mic, whether that's whispering to stay undetected or screaming to ward off any unwanted followers, TOTO ZOO has many opportunities that it takes with this mechanic.
note: There's also basic voice recognition for certain situations.

The player controls were built from the ground up with stealth and freedom in mind, use your faulty camera light to see into the dark, lean to peak corners, run and jump to escape, crouch under a table for cover, and throw physics objects to distract the threat.
note: Keep in mind that everything you do in game does have a level of noise attached to it.

Gus’ intelligence is where most of the development time has been spent and will continue to be, he'll make decisions based on the players play-style, think of him as a living animal that wants to stay undisturbed, if you provoke him too many times his anger will build.
note: Use your arsenal of mechanics to keep him at bay.

The Story interactions come in different ways in TOTO ZOO depending on the players input, most of them are just goofs and gaffs but there are some that do have a lasting effect on the narrative.
note: part one is the first half of the game that is TOTO ZOO.
