About Towering
Towering is a platform game that is inspired by Red Light, Green Light. When the background is red you are frozen in place. When the background is green you can move but most platforms and objects become invisible. The challenge is to study the placement of objects during red and navigate the tower during green by relying on your memory. Watch out for dangerous obstacles and enemies which will cause you to fall down! Can you reach the treasure at the top of the tower?
The objective of the game is to climb to the top of the tower in one go. Towering features two modes; normal and hard. Hard mode which has no checkpoints is only unlocked after completing normal mode.

Why no controller support?
Visuals: A rather simple pixel art style. There wasn't too much to look at, though the background was nice. It's decent sprite work, but the character feels a bit out of place and some of the aesthetics don't quite match up well. Gameplay: Jump and move. You can't move during the red light, but platforms are invisible during the green light. Memorize their location and move during the green light, but watch out! Anything yellow kills you and sends you back to the last checkpoint. It sounds simple and sounds easy, but I can assure you that it is not. Some of the jumps need to be almost pixel perfect and occasionally you'll just slide off edges. The timing window between some of the moving platforms or moving threats can be really hard. Not to mention checkpoints are far and few, with no indicator of when you get one. Story: ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ There's a tower that has treasure. Climb it. That's all you get. Length: I played this for 2 hours on stream, and the problem was that I had absolutely no idea how far I was to the end goal. There was no tracker or anything to tell me just how close I was to the end. But even then, I only managed to make it up, like, 5 or 6 checkpoints. Overall: 4/…
