About Tukki & Champ
Tukki the toucan and Champ the chameleon are bored, and really hungry.
Play locally against a friend as either Tukki or Champ, and try to gather more food than your opponent.
As Tukki you can fly around the screen in little jumps, and are in turn the only one
capable of moving. This means you control where Champ is as well. Try to force Champ
into missing his shots while getting closer to the bugs to grab them for yourself.
As Champ you can shoot out your tongue to catch bugs. Aim at an insect and shoot when
Tukki least expects it. Move your tongue in mid-air to counteract Tukki’s attempts of
out-maneuvering you.

This is a local 2-players game. One of you controls the bird and the other controls the frog. You need to eat more bugs than the other party to win. Eating the hive will reduce your value. You can consider playing this game with your friends around. Tukki & Champ is a game design student project that's been published on Steam so the students can feel good about themselves. It's a very simple two player local game where one player uses the mouse and the other uses the "space" and "control" keys on the keyboard. The keyboard player controls the toucan, "Tukki", and the mouse player controls the chameleon, "Champ". Imaginative names. Tukki moves a little like an ostrich in Joust, except you can't steer, you can just use CTRL to change your direction. Champ aims and shoots with the tongue. The objective? Eat all the bugs. The player that eats the most wins. So as the Tukki player you need to get to the bugs to eat them, but the Champ player is riding on you and has range to attack... it's a novel idea. But is it fun? No. And "fun" isn't the point here, this is a student project for students, not a game developed with gamers in mind. I'm not sure the students passed the course on this one. From a technical standpoint, the game doesn't meet basic minimum requirements that most PC gamers expect as standard.
