About UnHappy Place
UnHappy Place is a game that concentrates on depression. The main goal of the state is to better the main character's mental health by doing simple things, such as cleaning the apartment.
As game progresses, you will gain more energy to do more tasks at your home.
When sleeping, you might see nightmares and need to fight your bad thoughts.
To socialize your character, you can read and answer to in-game text messages.
You can also find various collectable items from your past life!
Your home and life might look more bright and colorful than you remembered when your mood is better!

Cool short game for playing with simple gameplay, but only Finnish language2 found this helpful
had my husband translate the text messages for me since i still dont know enough finnish to read everything, but language isn't really needed too much in this game anyways since a lot of it is visual based. though being able to understand it does help a bit in learning the storyline it was really encouraging to get stuff done day by day. first starting out only being able to really do 2 things at most, then as i cleared more stuff i got more energy and was able to do more and more each passing day. was very rewarding another thing i loved is it never punished you for failing at the nightmare mini-game, instead it actually got easier every time you failed and that's not something i really see in many games so i enjoyed that a lot1 found this helpful
This was really cute and fun to play. It doesn't take too long to finish it. I used Google translate to translate all of the words in the game. The only difficult part was during the mini-game because I wasn't sure what I was supposed to collect and stay away from, but I eventually managed to figure it out. It's a pretty easy game to figure out.
Simple & fun.

UnHappy Place really needs an English translation. Based on what I played (and what I can interpret), the game has a point-and-click style of gameplay with one minigame component. Every action consumes energy and sleeping replenishes it. I know this game is a tech demo, but I do wish the energy icons were more clear (how much energy you currently have and how much energy you have consumed). I couldn't tell the difference while I was playing it. What I did like about this game is helping the main character out. There's a lot to improve, and I wouldn't mind changing my review if it was slightly better.
