This unfinished game by one guy that has not been updated in years is still, by far, the best boxing game available on steam. dev, if you read this, you did good here my guy2 found this helpful
Good and fun 10 hour of gameplay per run. Simple but efficient mechanics, but greatly lacks challenge. There is no ending, aging doesn't affect anything as far as I could tell.
an amazing game, i love every part of this game, i may be basic, but i recommend this game for everyone.
I really enjoy this game for what it is. It's been abandoned so I don't recommend buying it, but I do wish there were more games striving to do what this game does. You coach, train, and feed a boxer from a coach's perspective. You spectate their boxing matches, with the option to toss in buffs to your boxer. The fighting animation is very nice/fluid and manages to take real boxing strategy and make it flashy. It's a shame, because a bit more variety is all this game seems to be missing to give it extra hours of fun. Beyond that, some sort of end goal that spices things up and this would be easy to call finished. I still come back and play it every now and then, but it is unfortunately abandoned.
Just not a very good game.
I wish Victory Road didn't get abandoned. This game had so much potential. I look forward to the day that somebody tries to make a boxing game inspired by this unfinished gem.
