Don't bother with this pile of (insert word here!) as it's as dead as a doornail! Honestly, you get more content on a demo disc for the PS1 than what you do in this "game". Developer took peoples money and legged it! Last bit of news or update was 9 months ago, no posts from the developer on Discord (but plenty of annoyed people that supported the game on Kofi) not even one to say the "game" is still being worked on.

Avoid this game, the developper run away after his cround funding. Supporters that payed up to 60€ are stuck with a game worth less than 10€. Game is abandonned, supporters are getting bad from the communities sharing about alternative, bad game, censorship kind of Discord moderators. They should moderate and follow their own server rules instead of banning for a not valid reason not following the rule. Concerning the game, it's not even finished. Games functions are buggy af, controls not intuitive, Very limited gameplay expension, stay away from this game. I found a better one that is still active, discord moderadors cannot do much here: Data Center. That game is actually way more complete and has expention possibilities, you get also more technical possibilities, you build a real data center, not just a start of data center. Developers, either you have a communication issue about your game development progress, or either you should give supporter their money back and concider finding a job that doesn't imply using computer sciences skill.

The new update definitely comes with some nice improvements, and I’m glad to finally see Web Host Simulator getting some attention again. The Reconnect Update adds a lot of small things that make the game feel better and more complete. The new Live Command System is a pretty nice addition, and the changes to the server room also help with the atmosphere. The lighting overhaul is definitely an improvement compared to how it looked before. The new objects, CCTV system, equipment management and UI changes are also welcome additions. So, I don’t think this update is bad at all. Actually, I think it’s a good first step. However, I still have a hard time recommending the game in its current state. The biggest problem for me is not even the content of this update. It’s the communication and the lack of updates that came before it. Since December 15th, 2025, there has been basically no meaningful update or communication for a very long time. That is a huge amount of time for a game that is still in development. The developer has now explained that he went through a lot of bad things in his personal life during that period, and I completely understand that real life can sometime…

This is a encouragment to consider buying not a definitiv Conclusion as early access is not for everyone. The development was paused for a long time, and there weren't any updates on when or how it would be continued. But the dev published an apology and explanation for why there was a delay. The game just received a big update/patch with major fixes and lots of content updates. The game is early access and will be for a while longer. Don't let negative reviews fool you — many early access games start out that way. It's better than whatever slop EA is making. I would advise being careful with early access games. Given the current circumstances, I would recommend the game, as the dev is focusing more on the studio and the development. Support indie devs — €12 is a good price and helps them make an actually good game.
