I spend my time growing wheat, building houses and sending supplies toward a war effort, but the real focus is on the people and the absences that slowly become more noticeable. I liked how the game uses something as peaceful as farming to tell a much sadder story. The gameplay is deliberately simple. I grow crops, expand the small community and unlock improvements that make the work more efficient. I enjoyed this because the farming never feels like the main attraction. Instead, the simple tasks give me something to do while the situation around the village gradually changes. Building houses is another small but meaningful part of the experience. Watching the community grow gives me a reason to keep progressing, but the context makes those developments feel less cheerful than they normally would in a farming game.
