Where the Heart is: Season 1

i loved the deep inside of each caracters AND and i loved to play with them a really well done VN

While there are plenty of pretty girls in this game. The characters are nothing special, I didn't really feel any atraction to any of them. Plus the story feels really slow. I played through almost the entire first season. And nothing really happened until near the end. So I can't really recommend this game. Not when there are a lot of better Harem style games available.

So I just stumbled upon this one after a string of bad NSFW games. Was such a genuinely nice surprise to get this with its fun characters, neat little choices and a cliffhanger that made me excited for Season 2. Its very lucky that I found this when I did because Season 2 is apparently just a few months away! This one is in my opinion easily worth your money. Fingers crossed season 2 is as well when it releases

Really really bad. Do you like pressing spacebar/mouse 3 times to move a sentence after 5 second text transition to screen like a powerpoint slide? Thats the default. Turn down the transition and you get 2 clicks min. WTF. You could forgive this if the story was engauging. Its simply not. It is so not engaging. Drrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrraaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaawwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn out. Pretty sure the script was plugged into an LLM and extended over and over and over again. This game shouldnt have been released in seasons, it doesnt have the plot and script to last a few episodes on its own. The Cafe owner date setup was insultingly off character for the Jenna who was 1 of only 2 characters wiho are interesting. Dont buy it. save your money and your wits from a boring as hell badly drawn out script.

Doesn't have some great storyline with deep meaning or suspense, the female models aren't great beautiful super models, and isn't cutting edge realistic looking art. But it's well done and enjoyable. The story is kind of cookie cutter (have i played this before?} boy moves into house full of women story, with no real main antagonist or big mystery. It also seems pretty much linear, though choices do matter and efeect your relationships and who you can or can't pursue. The female models are more your average girl next door type looking models, which honestly is a nice change, but the personalities of each are well done and makes them much more interesting. There's a lot of teasing and build up which helps build interest in the LI's. It's a nice change of pace from every girl just jumping in bed with MC right away. The art and animations feel a little dated, i didn't pay attention to release date, but doesn't hurt the experience any. I didn't notice any typo's or wonky dialogues, which is a big plus. Overall i found this AVN enjoyable and very much worth the read / play. Looking forward to the continuation which (at this time of review) is due very soon.
