Wonderputt Forever

First the game seems to run like hot garbage, the menus are laggy and it feels like 30fps but the frame counter won't work. I'm on a freaking 5070ti. It also seems to run at a low resolution... and there are basically NO graphics settings of any kind, not even for something as basic as resolution. Then the first hole was so annoying I uninstalled the game. I mean I guess buy to try but be sure to try within 2 weeks in case your experience is as bad as mine.

Nice golf game! The achievements can be pain, because you can't repeat each level, but you have to repeat the whole chapter / set of a lot of holes for something you can only do on one specific level. I wanna talk about the human-criticising elements in this otherwise kids-friendly presentation. The game shows animal life room being cut down, animals captured behind bars, animals doing circus shows, animals' extinction and humans standing in a circle in a church holding up candles like a cult while animal balloons rise up like they are sad that they caused their extinction. Further human scientists firing a rocket with atom fusion technology exploding into the nuclear mushroom shape. Humans swimming in their own brown soup of thrown away material stuff polluting the environment. And a human in front of a big group of followers promising salvation from our undoings by flying up into space. To me it seems that the game wants to say, that humans are doing a lot of bad things which damage our surroundings and that we should change our behaviour. While I agree, I think that this does not belong into a game with kids-friendly presentation as it might disturb people which came for easy…

For an achievement-heavy game like this, why wouldn't you allow replaying of individual holes? Ridiculous

A cute, charming little golf game with absolutely phenomenal art and a really nice soundtrack. Unfortunately, the problem is just that there's not that much of it. 3 courses with 18 holes each and 4 100-hole "tours" that both look and play like Test Levels meant to try out things for more courses. Another 2 or 3 18 hole courses at the quality of the 3 we have so far, and I think this would be a lot more fun. There's also the issue of just how much perfection the game demands from you. I know it's a game about lining up perfect shots, but in a game with no quick retry functions, it severely hampers the joy of getting the best score when one mistake means I have to play the whole course again, an issue made even worse by the Relic Mode's almost sadistic rules of taking energy for extra shots and demanding almost perfect bank shots to get all of the DNA. Overall, as much as I like Wonderputt Forever, it's a game that sometimes feels like it's an art piece rather than a golf game. A beautiful, interesting and well-made art piece, but still an art piece. A sequel to a beloved game I've played in the past, in a new incredible and wacky world for us to uncover! Overall, I very much enjoyed this game, and would definitely recommend this to anyone who is looking for a visually appealing, laid-back experience. First, I'd like to go over some of my issues I've come across throughout playing this game, one of which many people seem to notice immediately: the game is locked at 30 frames per second. While it is true that it makes the game feel less smooth, in my opinion, the game is still very much enjoyable with the content it offers, with 30FPS not ruining the entire experience for me. With that out of the way, some people might get frustrated with shooting the ball. On some holes, you may find a sense of scale or depth to be misleading, causing you to miss your shot. This is important for some achievements, like the age of escape's hole 15 one, where you have to score without falling off. What i found most helpful to solve this, was to aim it just a bit more left, or upwards, depending on where I'm aiming.
