I have no words. It´s simply terrible. The zombies themselves are broken, often getting stuck walking/running in place. And even if they don´t, they don´t pose any real threat whatsoever. Only when they decide to spot you through a wall, and then proceed to clip through said wall, ambushing you in a really cheap way. You can just walk right past them anyways, so it´s not like it matters at all. As far as weapons go, the shotgun (or sniper rifle for one level), renders all other weapons useless. The automatic weapons are some of the worst I´ve seen in any game as a matter of fact. The pistol/revolver are 2 hit kills which is fine, but honestly, would you rather use that or the 1 hit kill shotgun? Then there is the environment itself. It being linear is one thing. Everything looking the same to the point where it doesn´t feel like you´re making any progress is another. One level in particular dragged on for so long I considered quitting, and then I reached the exit, which gave me the motivation to push on. But that isn´t even the worst part about it. The worst part are the glitches. Entire buildings often flicker in and out of existence, It´s incredibly irritating when you s…1 found this helpful
I love this game! I'm shocked it has bad reviews. What I really like about it is it's very very difficult. The levels are super long with no checkpoints and you can die really quickly so you always have to be on guard when playing this game. There were times where I got really far in level and died from a zombie that came out of nowhere and I have to say it's been a while since I played a game that made me actually pissed off at myself for not looking around my surroundings better. Not saying this game is like Dark Souls but you really got to look at your surroundings and pick and choose which guns you prefer with the ammo that's lying around. Towards the end of the stage is one part where ammo is scarce and I swear it was like dreading every move. I really like this game and hope the people that make it make more games like this.
I tried, I really tried to enjoy it but it's just.... not good. It feels like a group of student's first project and the art designer is carrying hard. The actual design of the levels and atmosphere is great and against the rest of the game is absolutely the standout but that's the only positive i can give the game, the gameplay is not good. Movement has a weird property where it acts like a key is still held so you keep moving a direction, but only after holding a key for a little while, doesn't happen with taps. Enemy ai just detects you in a radius and then runs at you, they'll detect you through walls and injure you on contact and if you die, well back to the start of the level with you. Which will happen occasionally, since the runner zombies are just faster than you and the contact damage is insane. The sound design is uh, there, sure but each track loops, zombies make no noise aside from groans that can't even be distinguished from the soundtrack and the guns... also have a sound. No options menu either. As a very short romp even for the introduction price discount it's genuinely not worth the price, if you want to see for yourself by all means, but don't say I didn't war…
Gave it a shot and found it to be pretty bland. I also really disliked how quickly the running zombies can take your health all the way down to zero. Would've been a lot of backtracking to continue from where I died on my last attempt and it just didn't feel worth it to continue. GAMEPLAY: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-xUzv_xyPx0
