COCORO

Really really beautiful...even philosophical. Read it, give it a try.

Very slow paced, so it's mostly chill. This certainly isn't a masterpiece however it's enjoyable and that's enough for me. What made me like the game is [spoiler] the ending, finally a good ending! But it does fumble before it by having two down turns in a row, which is really bizarre. [/spoiler]

COCORO is a really good VN with a really wholesome story. She gets goofy sometimes, other times she could get really really 𝓯𝓻𝓮𝓪𝓴𝔂. But overall, and I rate this using ULTRAKILL's level completion rating system (because its my favorite game and it describes my rating perfectly), this game gets a P rank. The same rank I bestowed upon ATRI in my personal opinion and library. and also, Linux users, this game has a stroke when playing the video near the end. I wont spoil what it is.

I came into COCORO thinking it was just going to be Atri 2, but it turns out to be something that stands on its own. While I think Atri is slightly better, COCORO is still 100% worth your time, a great VN with a lot of funny moments and some surprisingly well implemented twists. Also Cocoro is really hot and she's great.

I was pretty wary after KANADE since for me it was bit of a letdown (mostly due to the length hurting it) but COCORO turned out genuinely great. It is similar to ATRI in many ways but the main difference is in how the world disaster happened and how it approaches the robot theme from sort of an opposite angle. The pacing also felt excellent and characters are overall well-written. Soundtrack is ok but not very memorable, nice art and voice work is superb as usual. Loved the ending! Overall, it is almost up there with GINKA and ATRI for me so definitely recommending.
