As the next-generation Type-5 model in her series, her short designation is E-5—all units of types 1 through 4 are her sister models.

She may appear to be an expressionless android, but beneath that exterior she's surprisingly human, with a full range of emotions.
It was those emotions that compelled her to question her function and escape from the laboratory where she was born.

I didn't expect Ego's personality to be like that, but it's perfect. Hajime is also... something. He starts in a weird place for sure. But it all ends up being quite fun and heartwarming. If I had to criticize something I'd say the setting seems underdeveloped, but as the story seems to argue, sometimes the most simple flavors can nourish the soul better than anything too grandiose.2 found this helpful
