Just say no. Remapping controls is essentially impossible. I was patient, I found the controller remapping menu in the launcher, and... start was still mapped to left stick press afterward, even though I remapped everything. Watching the game on YouTube, I knew that finding the target lock button was important. So, I found the target lock button! It turns out that target locking only controls your camera. A target lock does not provide any aiming assistance for projectiles or dashing attacks or anything at all. According to Steam, I've spent 20 minutes doing various kinds of troubleshooting and remapping and whatever just to try to make this game work for me. No thank you. This game is just a train wreck. If a player who is patient and curious still can't figure out your game... just say no. Refunded.

Kusoge. It was almost good...almost. As you can see from my playtime, I tried. The presentation is all there, it has a deep storyline (if a little cliché) which resembles an anime series of the 2010's, diverse, fun roster, interesting ideas and whatnot, but this isn't a real fighting game. THE GAMEPLAY BOILS DOWN TO ONE GENERIC STUPID ATTACK COMBO. It's just a matter who keeps getting the combo out first, You or the CPU. Let me tell you it's very easy to make the crappy AI into compromising situations where all you essentially is: mash the attack button until you end the chain with an uppercut. To add insult to injury, you can extend the combo by linking a couple of force attacks in between. Also very easy. Ultimately the CPU will fly away to break the chain as to not be an infinite but it doesn't matter anyways. There's ways to get your enemies stuck in a combo loop. Rinse and repeat. Wanna make it easier? Activate your formation. Wanna make it even easier? Active overdrive and/or chain drive. You still don't need all these to win the game, to exploit the AI. it makes it faster though. If you lose then it was a fluke. When you add all the other negatives: Super overcomplicate…

One of the earliest games I ever bought on steam. I remember enjoying it was recently reminded of it by playing another game

Very masculine and based game, controls are a bit complicated at first on keyboard and mouse, so get a controller, game is quite fun

6/10 Combat is jank but it does have some charm with the music and opening ost.
