Lovely game, the spellcrafting system and the world complement each other very well

This game is one of the most enjoyable I've played in years. The puzzles give me huge Zelda vibes and they really do just let you go crazy with the ability to manipulate and shape your own spells. Top it all off with the fact the art style and visuals are pretty damn adorable. If someone was on the fence about purchasing it, I would 100% recommend this game.

It's a cute game that gets more complex as you gain runes to modify your spells. The first two hours of the game dragged me a bit, but after you gain a couple or interesting runes, the spell combination possibilites explode and the game becomes so much fun! This game is for you if you like puzzles, dungeons and combining mechanics (spells). The characters, the music and the story are quite charming, too. However, bare in mind the game is a bit umpolished and controls can feel a bit clunky sometimes. If that's not a problem, go ahead! Regarding the difficulty level, I was very hesitant. Archmage was a bit scary, reading the comments, but I was also afraid that the first level was too easy. After playing in Archmage, my conclusion is that Archmage is not that hard (if you have experience with other action games), but the first two-three hours can be tough because you have to spam the same basic spells over and over, and enemies require too many hits before going down. However, after you finish the ice "temple", everything changes as you get access to tons of spell combinations and strategies. I would even say that the last part was too easy, as some spell combinations resolved enti…

until they fix this i wouldn't buy it. i played this years ago and it worked fine but never finished it. Tried to play this again several times in the last few years and i get a black screen with music, no matter what i do i can't get it to work. I've tried deleting the cut scene videos and anything else people have suggested and nothing. it's been at least 2-3 years that the game has been broke with no fix while they work on a new game that will probably break and get abandoned. I hope steam implements something that holds devs accountable for ♥♥♥♥ like this.

absolute cinema the puzzle elements were so much fun to figure out and spellcrafting was so fun. if there was more post game content and the spellcrafting tree was expanded this would be the best game ever
