Getting Over It with Bennett Foddy

This was the single worst experience I've ever had in my life. Never have I suffered at the hands of a game like this one. Bennett, may both sides of your pillow always be hot, may your socks always be wet when you put them on, may there always be flies and mosquitoes every time you enter your room. May there always be an itch under your hand that you can never quite scratch. May you get stuck in a cauldron just like you forced the main character to be in. 9/10 game. Did it what was advertised. -1 point for adding slipperiness

Very fun to beat for the first time. But.. Speedrunning it can feel horrible while being addictive at the same time so... do that at your own risk. My current PB is 2:53. Aiming higher, unfortunately. Although I must say, I think speedrunning it feels a lot better after like sub 4, because losing a good run becomes much less of a deal at that point. When I hit 4:50 I was stuck there for ages mostly cause of a mental block that would make me forget how to play the game when getting a good run. It felt horrible. Like I said, do this at your own risk.... It's a mentality game.

played this game and beat it during a pretty uncomfortable time in my life. 2 years later and here i am having finally ripped the band-aid and got the last achievement. one of the most impactful games I've ever played, took me eight hours to beat it my first time, and i uninstalled it 5 times in the process. it's one of the simplest, yet most rewarding games out there. 10/10 would recommend

i would recommend this game to people who want to die a little inside every time they fall
