Meh, the gameplay of walking around the house and getting spooked by jumpscares, as well as trying to figure what things looked like and guessing a bit is very annoying I enjoyed the actual visual novel that was the previous game and was willing to excuse the cringe storyline, because the game was pretty. But this game isn't pretty. The graphics are intentionally ugly, and the amount of animated characters is limited I haven't gotten to the extras yet, but I miss the cringey oc's from the Looking Up I See Only A Ceiling. They were a bit obvious, but cute The biggest loss is the lack of a character that we can anchor ourselves to, emotionally. The so-called Calendar-chan was a neat protagonist we could emotionally resonate with. I was hoping the current one will also be that, but he remains silent for the entirety of the actual game. And only speaks at the very beginning and the end I kinda wish that they removed the whole "spot the difference' element of gameplay. And just made this a walking simulator. But with more narration instead The thing is also that the horror is less meaningful than that of Looking Up I See Only A Ceiling. Where previously horror felt aimed and planne…

this is my first experience with this type of "catch the anomaly" type horror games so im not like experienced and i may not know what im talking about, but for my first foray into these types of games, i thought it was good and i liked the gameplay and vibe :)

I finally figured out what I went into my room to get

its an interesting experience. i really like how this developer approaches covering topics of mental health, and i like how the story isn't all shoved into just the endings. the endings tell some of the story, but throughout the whole thing you can interact with things and learn more about the story. its on the shorter side, i still have one ending to unlock so i think this game is about 2 hours of playtime. i would say its worth it! its pretty cheap and especially when on sale or in a bundle i would pick this game up again. even without having seen the last ending yet, i would say my money was well spent and it was already worth it.
