Gigapocalypse

This is perhaps the quickest I've ever formulated an opinion on a game. In the 10 minutes I've played, I realize this is not for me. Not only is the game just randomly clicking until you win, really earning the casual tag. But I feel I have absolutely 0 control over the outcome. Not to mention the deaths all feel incredibly unsatisfying. Making this whole gameplay loop feel like a giant waste of time. While I normally LOVE pixel graphics, I didn't like this aesthetic as much as I thought I would.

I’m enjoying the game, not going to lie. Could it be considered a simple, one-button game? So what? Sometimes, that’s all I need. The premise is pretty straightforward. Control a giant monster, destroy things, level up and then destroy some more. Rinse and repeat. For me, this setup is quite addictive and fun. There are several monsters to choose from, each with their own abilities and perks, and additional skills can be unlocked. One interesting element is the boss fight at the end of the stage. It is not just shooting and avoiding attacks; each boss has its own unique mini-game which I find quite refreshing. Another interesting feature is that you can care for your monster and interact with it. The range of actions you can perform are very limited, but grant some handy mutation points. It is a nice touch for an arcade game. The pixel art is really charming, giving a great nostalgic feel. All in all, it is a good game to kill some time. Worth a try.

Not really what I expected. The game essentially plays itself, you dont really control anything, apart from the occasional and unnecessary left click. I bought it because I was led to believe it's similar to rampage, but it definitely is not. More of an idle clicker, you dont play it as such.

Really good game here. Definitely see myself coming back every now and then to do another character. Need a break after all that clicking
