CoreBreaker: Desktop Swarm

For me, it plays like a cool idle version of BallxPit, which is exactly what drew me to it in the first place. While some might find the visual style a bit generic I didn't mind it at all because the core loop is solid. It serves as a good desktop companion if you enjoy this genre. What really keeptg me coming back is the progression; upgrading your setup feels good and delivers a genuinely fun sense of accomplishment. Plus, the developer has been killing it with continuous life updates and freshly added achievements to chase. If you are looking for a good idle game to park on your second monitor while you work or chill, this is definitely a good one to grab. 7/10

A well made incremental idler. First time I've had a desktop companion, but this seems a pretty cool way of having one. Lots of fun. Hoping the developers will continue content and such.

Deep idle-like game. Recommended!

The game runs quietly in the corner of the screen and offers a generally pleasant desktop companion style experience. Watching bouncing cores clear out swarms has a light, steady appeal, and letting the action play passively during workdays can make routine tasks feel a bit less monotonous. Switching into fullscreen to take direct control adds some variety to the loop. Surviving waves requires a modest amount of planning, and unlocking new cores while expanding the skill tree provides a gradual sense of progression. However, once wave 450 is reached, advancement slows down noticeably, requiring long stretches of idle time to gather enough experience to move forward. Instrumental music fits the background action reasonably well, and watching swarms get cleared out can be satisfying. Fans of idle clickers or auto battlers may find the mechanics and upgrades engaging enough for casual play, even if the experience isn’t endlessly compelling.

Fun little game with a nice progression system. I like that it can run on the desktop while I'm doing other things, and it feels satisfying to upgrade over time. Looking forward to seeing what gets added next.
