Super fun game...at first. The problem is it gets worse the more you unlock stuff. Makes it a lot harder to land upgrades or get items you want as the pool of random choices grows. Add a way to shrink the pool of random choices and I'll give this a thumbs up.

Excellent game, I just wish that there was more of it to be found, I got 100% too quickly and easily since I would have loved to continue playing. I would have preferred a more challenging experience, like a hard mode, where I can barely scrape out a win, rather than it being balanced around how much you can break the game and the amount of overkill is what counts as your overall progress. If I could request something from the devs it's this kind of game mode, which would make me come back again and again I'm sure.

Awesome little puzzle rogue like.

If you like rogue-likes and auto battlers for 6$ this is a great buy. I’ve finished what content there is as of this review (including the overkill challenges) but there is an endless mode to experiment with. Edit: one thing I forgot to mention is that I don’t think it should be tagged a deck building/card battling game. There aren’t deck building aspects besides unlocking new unit choices, but those are progression unlocks and not a core gameplay choice you are making. Unless all auto battler games are card battlers than this game isn’t a card battling game

It was a really fun play. TBH, the main criticism that I have is the length to beat it is fairly short and I'd have liked some more.
