✦ AI summary

Corporate Entropy is a turn-based strategy game about resisting AI takeover in the workplace that players find conceptually interesting, but it suffers from significant technical issues and poor game balance that frustrate progression. The main complaint is that the game punishes success by sending winning players to Antarctic assignment as a penalty mechanic, which feels unfair and undermines the risk-reward experience, alongside frequent freezing bugs particularly during base reassignments.

It's alright. Very buggy. There's about a 50% chance the game freezes (or at least goes ~nonresponsive) when reassigned to the Antarctic research base. The game appears badly calibrated for "you're doing too well, we can't have you win in Q1, welcome to the Antarctic, now it's Q4 and the enemy has completely undone all of your work." That kinda sucks. I have stopped assigning things to ARIA altogether because ARIA doing its own thing gets me sent on a polar cruise for like a year. In a 2 year game... yeah this sucks. Update: It doesn't help, they will STILL send you to the Antarctic even if your Suspicion is 0% and your Performance is 100% if you are winning and not doing risky things. This does not feel like good game design, at least in the risk/reward experience here. I get that the background risk should NEVER be zero, but also a lot of the stats in this game feel absolutely fake. Suspicion and Performance, definitely. Update: No autosave and a very buggy Antarctic prison that soft-lock the game. Uhh, guys, what are we doing here. This is not playable. Update: 0.1% of players have the achievement for getting to Q4. That stat does NOT feel fake. Source: me. On the plus si…

Interesting game about battling the AI take over in the workplace. Basically a turn based strategy game where you fight against at your company's leadership who are trying to implement a new AI system that is set to replace all of you. Funny thing happened to me where I "won" but was sent to a remote work assignment. basically punished. It was cool because there is a hidden mini game there. all and all a fun game. definitely worth a play.
