Automon Arena

It's an autobattler battle royale I'm not that familiar with any of those genres, but I think it's pretty fun Not a lot of people online but there are bot lobbies that allow you to search for real ones while you play against bots so that's nice Games can be played with 2 or more people, so I can see it being a fun one to check out with friends After playing more Other reviews call this game bs, dumb or unfair I'd say, it's like any game, just give it some time; eventually you'll get what works well together, what to do and what to not do (I kinda get it, before, encountering a bot was an automatic life loss for me; but now I'm on a 5 games win streak so yeah you can get better if you keep trying. Game doesn't have a ton of monsters yet so it's not hard to build the teams you want) There's not a ton to focus on; look at what types and skills the monsters have, what would synergize well in which position It's really fun; I hope that more will be added to it

Automon Arena is genuinely incredible. The Automon designs, the characters, and especially their dialogue are all so charming and funny. You can really tell how much love has been poured into this game. I liked it so much that I ended up joining the community, and that only made me appreciate it even more after seeing how much effort the developer is putting into it. Just today, the dev released an update that implemented suggestions people had literally made yesterday in the Discord server. That alone says a lot. This isn’t one of those games that gets released and then immediately feels abandoned. The developer is actively listening to the community, improving the game, and clearly cares a lot about what they’re creating. Because of that dedication, both from the dev and the community, I can genuinely see this game growing into something really special. I have a lot of hope for its future. I also absolutely love that Automon Arena is built around PvP instead of being a completely linear experience. A genuinely great sequel to the original Automon, the battle royale aspect works really well. I adore the updated artwork, it keeps the charm of the original whilst still giving it a solid upgrade visually. My hours at the time (13~) are played only against bots, but the multiplayer seems like a fun addition though take note there's limited active players at the moment. Will be interesting to see how this develops during early access and I am excited to see more Automons!

I think this is a really solid game and I'm excited for when it is fully finished out of early access. There's a surprising amount of strategic depth for what seems like a rather simple system that I'm sure will only get better as the game develops. Really wouldn't listen to most of the negative reviews its a $5 game and well worth the price especially considering the potential. Dev seems like they've been doing a good job so far and actually care about the project.
