[h1] Arcade like shooter with alien like creatures. Some enemies are just nasty but that's how the game is made. Your main weapon is transforming fly like gun which can be turned into shotgun, grenade launcher or blaster. Plenty of fire modes and plenty of stages to complete nonetheless gameplay feels decent. You aim for score here so no complex story nor chimichangas or tacos. Music and sounds are ok, nothing ear-mazing. You probably gonna stumble across some issues with resolution and such but when you set it up it's not a bad game just peculiar one that's for sure. At it's time game have some high regards within some reviewers. Should you play it? Maybe, if you're looking for something new. [/h1]

Xotic is an ancient console (Xbox 360) game from 2011. It's a whopping 13 years old at the time of this review. The game lacks support for the typical features of modern gaming PCs, hasn't been modernised or updated to run smoothly on contemporary machines. The game looks and feels dated. Despite this lack of modernisation, it carries a pretty high price tag for such an old game. This seems to have be lingering on Steam with an inflated price to try profit from abandonware. This is a weird shooter where apparently your gun is an insect, because, I dunno, they thought that's what Xbox 360 gamers really wanted was a shooter but your gun is a bug. They were wrong. And while FPS games are great, somehow they just went way wide of the mark, going for gimmicks and combos rather than just tying the game to a strong and rich narrative. Developers still have to learn that content is king. On the upside, the game does feature customisable controls and resolution, so at least some of the basic, minimum requirements have been met. NO Mmo players and finally no competition of others

This game has a focus on speed and replayability, yet it has the worst movement I've ever experienced in a first-person shooter. Controls are super sluggish and floaty, and you'll be expected to do platforming with its awkward physics and it all feels terrible.
